ESUABANA HANDS OVER TO EBIOGEH AS THE NEW FMIST PERMANENT SECRETARY.

Following the recent redeployment of the Permanent Secretaries by the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSC), Mrs. Esuabana Nko Asanye handed over to Mr. Philip Ndiomu Ebiogeh as the newly posted Permanent Secretary to the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science, and Technology.
In her outgoing remarks, Mrs. Esuabana charged the management to continue to build on the landmark achievements and breakthroughs made so far in order to lead the Science Technology and Innovation (STI) ecosystem to a greater height.

She added that STI, being the bedrock of development of any nation, if properly harnessed, will tackle the challenges faced in the country. Also, she assured the in-coming Permanent Secretary of the management’s unwavering support she enjoyed during the period of her posting in the Ministry. In his speech, the in-coming Permanent Secretary, Mr. Ndiomu Philip Ebiogeh, said that he will work assiduously with the management to build on what his predecessor has built to achieve the mandate of the Ministry as well as reposition the Ministry and complete the work she has started, adding that continuity is the key to success.

He reiterated that his leadership will be policy driven and tasked the management to work together as a team to move the STI ecosystem forward and transform the economy of the country.

The Director Bio-Resource Technology (BRT) Mr. Isaac Nnamdi Anum who spoke on behalf of the management, wished the outgoing Permanent Secretary farewell and a successful stay in her new posting, while he welcomed the in-coming Permanent Secretary, assuring him of the management’s support for a smooth and successful administration.
